The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce is hosting a golf tournament at the Pike County Country Club on September 2. The annual fundraiser, which is in its third year, is put on to help support the activities of the organization.
Teams will consist of three players with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. and a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Golf Cart, lunch, a goodie bag and 18 holes of golf are all included in the team entry fee. Players will enjoy specialty games including the Mercantile Bank Closest to the Pin contest, Abel’s Quik Shops Longest Drive, PCMH Marshmallow Drive, and the Bank of Louisiana Chipping Challenge. There will also be a hole in one contest worth $10,200 sponsored by KJFM Eagle 102.
Team sign up forms are available at the Chamber office (221 Mansion) between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Players without a golf cart at the country club will need to register prior to the event. For more information, contact the Chamber office at 573-754-5921. Businesses interested in being a hole sponsor for the event are also encouraged to contact the office.
