There are several fresh faces at Louisiana City Hall.
Darrell Hampsten is the new economic development director. He currently is director of the Missouri Small Business Development Center in Moberly. Hampsten replaces Stacy Bowerman, who was fired last month after less than a year in the position over what Mayor Bart Niedner called a lack of focus on local business efforts and community partners.
Appointed as city treasurer was Charity Lesley of Louisiana. She replaces Ken Wilson, who resigned after the city opted to make the position a full-time job.
And new City Councilmen Tim Jackson in the First Ward and Marvin Brown of the Second Ward have been seated after their election on April 5th.
