The City of Louisiana will be celebrating its 200th Birthday in 2018. A planning committee has formed and is working on events to mark this moment in time. As a kickoff to the celebration a LOGO CONTEST is being held. “The Past Looking Forward” is the theme decided upon by the group. Electronic submission should be made by visiting the Louisiana200.com. Printed submissions should be mailed or dropped at either the City Hall or the Chamber of Commerce office and should be clearly marked as a submission for the contest on the envelope.
The selected logo will be used on brochures, advertising, banners and flyers leading up to and during the event in 2018. The winner will be announced and the logo displayed at this year’s Independence Day Celebration at the Louisiana Riverfront on July 4th. There will also be a $50 cash prize for the first place selection. Deadline for submission is May 1.
