Terminal upgrades are nearing completion at the Bowling Green airport.
The renovations began late last year and should be finished in a month. The project includes new windows, flooring and an updated restroom.
A state grant is funding 90 percent of the 49 thousand dollar project, with the city chipping in the rest.
The city-owned facility is next to the men’s prison two miles northwest of Bowling Green. It has 10 locally-based aircraft and its 32-hundred-foot lighted runway handles an average of almost 40 flights a week.
