Investigations by the Pike County Sheriff’s Department have led to the arrest of suspects on drug and prostitution charges.
The raids took place from November 22nd to November 25th. Authorities said they found meth, marijuana, morphine and heroin.
Twenty-three-year-old Breah Craig of Columbia faces three felony drug charges and misdemeanor prostitution.
Arrested with her was 35-year-old Marquise Mathis of Columbia. He’s charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Court appearances the two suspects are set for Wednesday (Dec. 2). Formal misdemeanor drug and prostitution charges had not been filed Monday against two other Columbia residents who were arrested.
Meanwhile, Bowling Green police joined sheriff’s deputies in a separate raid. Charged with distribution of a controlled substance was 24-year-old Brandon Dawson. A court date had not been set. Formal charges were pending against another suspect.
All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
