Bowling Green kicked off Christmas in the Green on Thursday (Nov. 19).

Hours for the annual holiday shopping promotion are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, November 20th and 21st.

Fifteen businesses and individuals are participating this year. All will offer specials on merchandise, drawings for prizes or refreshments.

Louisiana will host its annual Christmas Open House on November 28th in conjunction with Small Business Saturday.
