Stark Bro’s Nurseries & Orchards Co. welcomes Deborah Lill as the organization’s new Director of Human Resources. 

Lill joins the oldest fruit tree nursery in the U.S. (Stark Bro’s celebrates 200 years in business in 2016) and the largest direct-to-consumer nursery in the world. She brings nearly 20 years experience in human resources and various roles supporting growth in companies that require a sizeable and variable workforce. Her professional experience includes human resources for companies with 100-800 employees, team building, employee evaluations, strategic planning, safety, grant writing and payroll management.

Most recently, Lill worked in Human Resources for Allparts, Louisiana, MO, a wholesale motor vehicle supply parts company. She graduated from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, with a B.S. degree in Human Resource Management, and is a proponent of the Kaizan management philosophy, which promotes continuous improvement of working practices. (The Kaizan philosophy underlies total quality management and just-in-time business techniques.) She is also OSHA certified. Lill resides in Clarksville, MO.
