The Mississippi and Illinois Rivers remained below flood stage Tuesday.
Locks and Dams from Canton to Winfield on the Mississippi reported readings below the technical flood mark. The closest either river came to flood stage in the immediate region was at Hardin along the Illinois.
The Mississippi did surpass technical flood stage at Grafton north of St. Louis, but water levels were expected to drop.
A flood warning continued along the Missouri River from Jefferson City to St. Charles.
