An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday (May 27) in Columbia in the weekend shooting death of a Pike County Missouri man.
Authorities say 38-year-old Clinton Dorsett Collins was shot up to four times in the chest at a rural Annada home just after 7:40 p.m. Saturday (May 23). The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Coroner Jim Turner.
Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte said in a statement that the homeowner apparently acted in self-defense. He added the investigation continued and that additional witnesses were being sought.
