One incumbent and four fresh faces are scheduled to be sworn in at the Louisiana City Council meeting on Monday, April 13th.

Mona Brown and Nancy Evans will take their seats in the First Ward. The incumbent Second Ward councilman is Kathy Smith. The other newcomers are Brice Chandler in the Third Ward and Chris Koetters in the Fourth Ward.

Voters chose the five in municipal elections last week. Issuers they’ll deal with right away include sewer repairs, a downtown building demolition and a prisoner work program.
