At approximately 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, MoDOT and its contractor opened the Elkhorn Creek Bridge located north of Buell in Montgomery County. The bridge has been closed since September 15, 2014 due to an inspection revealing one pier missing 50% of steel, making it unsafe to cross.

Repairs have been completed and the bridge is now reopened to traffic. MoDOT and its contractor appreciate motorists', area farmers' and businesses' patience during the repairs.
