One of Pike County Missouri’s biggest fund-raisers in the battle against cancer takes place Saturday (Sept. 27).

Relay for Life will be held at the fairgrounds outside of Bowling Green from 1 to 11 p.m.

Luminaries will be displayed and ceremonies will be held. In addition to raising money, there will be food, entertainment, games, face-painting and other activities.

Relay for Life is a worldwide event. Each year, more than four million people in 20 countries raise money for cancer research and treatment.
