Missouri voters will consider five constitutional amendments in the August 5th primary election.
Amendment 1 would guarantee farmers and ranchers the right to their livelihoods. Amendment 5 would specifically establish the right to keep and bear arms and ammunition.
Amendment 7 would raise the state’s sales tax to fund road and bridge work, and Amendment 8 would create a new lottery ticket with proceeds benefitting veterans’ programs.
The final measure on the ballot is Amendment 9, which would protect electronic data from unreasonable searches and seizures.
Three more amendments will go before Missouri voters in November.
