Thursday, July 17 at approximately 9:15 a.m., MO 79 from North Carolina to Delaware Street in Louisiana in Pike County opened to traffic after being closed due to flooding. MO 79 just south of Clarksville remains closed; MoDOT crews continue to monitor the flooding in this area and will open the road as soon as the water recedes.
