Weather is expected to dominate matters around the region over the next 24 hours.
Warnings and advisories have been issued for Northeast Missouri and West-Central Illinois, with up to seven inches of snow expected during the day and into the evening Tuesday.
The chance of precipitation is almost 100 percent and temperatures will remain frigid.
Winds of 10 to 20 miles per hour could cause drifting, especially on rural roads that don’t get cleared as quickly. Rapid accumulation of snow is expected.
The monster storm is expected to stretch from Colorado to New Hampshire, and forecasters say more white stuff may be on the way for Saturday.
