HANNIBAL – Water has receded from
U.S. 54 on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River at the Champ
Clark Bridge, and IDOT and MoDOT crews opened the road to traffic Sunday night at 7pm. The bridge was closed last week due to flooding from
the Mississippi River.
MO 79 south of Hannibal opened earlier this afternoon after being closed also from Mississippi River flooding.

can sign up to receive text alerts for emergency road conditions such as
road closures due to flooding and other inclement weather. Sign up at
