You
still have a couple of days to vote on whether a new Mississippi River
bridge at Louisiana should retain the name of the current one.

Opinions are being taken through March 31st at
www.champclarkbridge.com.

So far, people who have left comments agree that a new bridge should be
named after Champ Clark, the 20th century politician and former Bowling
Green resident who came within an eyelash

The Missouri Department of Transportation recently unveiled site
options for a new crossing. The easiest would be to build 50 feet north
or 50 feet south of the 85-year-old existing span.

   The agency is expected to pick an option next year.
