stage, with a rise of another two feet expected before the crest on
Thursday or Friday. At Clarksville, the river
was almost a foot-and-a-half above flood stage, with another
foot-and-a-half expected before the crest.
At Winfield, the river hadn’t reached flood stage, but was expected to on Wednesday.
