Traffic updates from Illinois State Troop Mike Kindhart

I-172 and 72 are at stand still in multiple places,,,96 at rileys curve 
traffic cant get up the hill,,,,,  Il 107/us54 at I-72 jacknife semi 
traffic traffic stopped all directions,,,,, IL57 almost impassable due to 
drifting snow…

Snow has come heavy and quick,,,, roadways are snow packed and some barely 
passable, stalled cars and trucks have caused numerous traffic back-ups,,, 

Motorists are reminded use headlights to be seen at distance, visibility 
is at a possible tenth of mile in places. increase stopping 
distance,,,,wipers cannot keep up right now and keeping windows clean is a 
problem….remeber clean all windows off and lights before travel
