This afternoon, Pike County Missouri Sheriff Stephen Korte reported the body of missing Jennifer Huckstep Bogert, 48, was found a half mile from her home near Eolia in a wooded area. Korte said it appears she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and no foul play is suspected.

Bogert was reported missing when she failed to show up to work on Friday morning. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department headed up the search for Bogert over the weekend and worked with the Pike County Sheriff's Department throughout the investigation.
