HANNIBAL – MoDOT bridge crews will be performing a routine inspection and preventative maintenance on the Champ Clark Bridge over the Mississippi River on US 54 at Louisiana beginning Monday, August 20 through Thursday, August 30. Crews will be working from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily on the bridge.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane during the day while the work is being performed with temporary traffic signals controlling traffic through the work zone area. There will be a 10-foot width restriction on the bridge while crews are present. Please use extra caution when traveling through the work zone. Motorists should expect delays. This work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
