This afternoon US Bank in Bowling Green was robbed. The suspect is being described as a white male between 30-40 years of age, approximately 5'9" and weighes approximately 280 lbs. He was wearing a brown Carhart jacket, tennis shoes, a navy blue stocking cap and large glasses.

 The Bowling Green Police Department is heading the investigation with the assistance of the Pike County Sheriff's Department and the FBI is enroute to the scene.

Bowling Green Police Chief warns everyone to be on the lookout for this suspect and if someone fitting the description is seen to call the Bowling Green Police at 573-324-3200.

Update: 5:30 p.m. : The FBI is now on the scene. Assisting them is the Bowling Green Police Department, Pike County Missouri Sheriffs Office, and the Missouri State Patrol.

Update: 7:50 p.m. : Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The search for evidence in the bank ended a little before 6:00 pm this evening. The bank plans to open for normal business hours tomorrow.
