MoDOT
reminds motorists that it is dangerous to drive into water-covered
roads.  We will continue to monitor the following areas and update if
conditions change.

All closures can be found online at http://www.modot.org/
on the traveler information map.  Since waters rise and fall quickly
during flash flooding, it is recommended motorists check the website or
call 1-888-275-6636 for the latest information.

Pike County – Route P backwater from Mississippi River closes road from east side of levee to approximately 1 mile east to Pike County Road 204 which is almost 5.49 miles east of Elsberry. Usually remains closed for several weeks.

Shelby County – Route N at North Fork Salt River located 3 miles south of Route K just north of Lentner, expected to open Tuesday afternoon.
