Road construction and maintenance projected for Pike County:

Route 61 – Project
inactive. Resurfacing from 0.8 mile south of Route UU near Bowling Green south
to just north of Route OO near Eolia (five disconnected sections); traffic will
be reduced to one lane with a 10 ft. width restriction from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
daily.
Route Y – Project inactive. Economic Recovery Project –
Resurfacing near Bowling Green from Business Route 61 in Bowling Green to County
Road 486, 2.4 miles; traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10 ft. width
restriction from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
daily.

Maintenance:
Route 79 CLOSED – just south of
Ashburn due to unstable road conditions from slide; the road is closed from
Route TT to Route B on 79. MoDOT is unsure when it is expected to
re-open.
Route Y – Mar. 29 work on box culverts; cleaning, cutting brush,
intermittent one-lane traffic with flaggers at the work zone.
Route 54 Bridge
over Noix Creek – Mar. 29-Apr. 2 (exact date not yet known) crews will perform
annual inspection requiring a lane closure; traffic control will be in place as
necessary.
Route UU – Mar. 30 culvert replacements, intermittent one-lane
traffic with flaggers at the work zones.
Route Y – Mar. 31 – Apr. 2 culvert
replacements, intermittent one-lane traffic with flaggers at the work
zones.
Route B – March 22-26 patching potholes, moving operation.
