LOUISIANA, Mo. — The Louisiana Lady Bulldogs fell to the Canton Lady Tigers 0-24 on Monday night in their final game of the regular season. Junior Angel Ulloa, who was involved in a serious car accident in August threw out the first pitch of the match up.
The Lady Bulldog’s were all smiles with Ulloa pre-first pitch, making him feel welcome. Ulloa even got some tips from Coach Kelsea Dorsey and the Bulldogs softball team on how to properly throw a softball, as he warmed up for his first pitch.
As he threw out the first pitch, the crowd erupted chanting “Angel.” Smiles were contagious as Bulldog nation celebrated the life of a peer, student, and family member… a young life that was almost gone too soon.
Louisiana will kick off the first round of district play on Tuesday night in New Haven. The Lady Bulldogs will face Jefferson, with first pitch set for 5:30pm. Reminder you can always find a full recap of scores on the Scoreboard page at kjfmradio.com.
