BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — After much consideration and discussion, in addition to seeking the advice of the Pike County Health Department concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has determined that it would be in the best interest of the public to postpone the 2020 Champ Clark Heritage Festival originally scheduled for Sept. 12.
In the announcement released by the chamber, the board will continue to monitor the health situation, but is tentatively planning to combine the Heritage Festival with the annual Holly Jolly event. The combined event could be held toward the end of November. Vendors and sponsors who have already registered for the Heritage Festival will be allowed to choose whether to transfer their registration to the potential combined event or receive a refund.
For more information contact the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and continue to stay tuned to Eagle 102 and the chamber’s Facebook page for updated information on the status of all upcoming events.
