This year’s Western Illinois fair in Griggsville runs Wednesday, June 22 through Sunday, June 26. Here’s a quick rundown of the highlights of the 2022 fair!
June 22 – Queen Pageant and Princess Pageant
June 23 – UPA Truck & Tractor Pull
June 24 – School Bus Demolition Derby, with Gut N’ Go Royal Rumble and Mini Trucks
June 25 – Mike Brown Promotions Demolition Derby
June 26 – Heartland Garden Tractor Pullers
In the livestock pavilion, the Western Illinois Fair is proud to again be the host site for the Pike County 4-H, allowing our local youth to showcase their hard work in exhibits and in the arena.
Connor Family Amusements will be back on the midway, with unlimited carnival rides included in your front gate cost! Robinson’s Wood Carving is always on hand, entertaining crowds with their talented chainsaw carving abilities. And new this year…axe throwing!
Your favorite food vendors will be back with delicious treats and hot eats all week. Front gate is $10 each on Wednesday and Thursday, $15 each on Friday and Saturday, and $5 each on Sunday. Ages 5 and under are admitted free, and parking on the grounds is also at no cost.
