Banks and government offices will be among the places closed Wednesday for the observance of Veterans’ Day.

There will be no regular mail delivery, although Express Mail service and private delivery companies will still operate.

Military ceremonies are planned in many communities. The holiday is observed on November 11th to mark the armistice that ended World War I.
