PIKE COUNTY, Mo. —Missouri voters headed for the polls on Tuesday and several local contests were decided during the primary election.
Pike County will have a new coroner as Billy Price defeated incumbent Colton Marti. Marti was fulfilling the term of former Pike County Coroner Chris Stark.
Kathy Turner was the top vote-getter in the race for Pike County Clerk of the Circuit Court following the retirement of incumbent Jerri Harrelson. Incumbent Milan Barry held on to his seat for Pike County Associate Circuit Judge defeating Noelle Inez Cheeseman.
The 40th District State Representative spot will once again be filled by incumbent Chad Perkins. Perkins defeated Dan Moran with 1,860 votes and Moran’s 868.
