KJFM SPORTS — Bowling Green Lady Bobcats asserted their will over Mark Twain on their way to an easy 12-1 victory
Bowling Green scored five runs in the sixth inning. Lady ‘Cat batters contributing to the big inning included Avery Gamm, Sydney Charlton, Lily Bowen, and Kennedy Grimsley, who all drove in runs.
Tanner Turner was credited with the victory for Bowling Green. The righty lasted six innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out 12 and walking zero.
Madison Epperson took the loss for Mark Twain. The Lady Tiger went five and two-thirds innings, allowing 12 runs on ten hits and striking out two.
Bowling Green Lady ‘Cats tallied 11 hits. Charlton, Turner, and Kaelynn Wommack each collected multiple hits for Bowling Green. Charlton went 3-for-4 at the plate to the Lady ‘Cats in hits.
Audrey Ross led Mark Twain with one hit in three at bats.
