PIKE COUNTY, Mo. — Karen Arico, left, a former member of the Pike County Bicentennial Commission, presents a check for $4,500 to Louisiana Area Historical Museum President Judy Schmidt at a ceremony June 4 at Champ Clark’s Honey Shuck in Bowling Green. The museum will use part of the money to renovate and expand the second floor of its facility at 304 Georgia Street in Louisiana. Also pictured are Museum Board Members Linda Beer and Charlotte Perrine. At back is Honey Shuck board member Diane Kirkpatrick. The Bicentennial Commission donated funding left from the 2018 celebration to the Louisiana museum and Honey Shuck.
