BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — The first night of the Second Annual Kaleo Dade Scholarship Co-Ed Softball Tournament kicked off Friday night. The tournament, which features 27 co-ed softball teams, are helping raise money for the continued support of the Kaleo Dade Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to one Bowling Green High School graduate, one Eastern Missouri (EMO) Conference graduate and one graduate that attended Grant Elementary in Columbia. Bowling Green High School football team members are helping run the concession stand. Also on hand is the Sugar Shack, who is donating a portion of each sale to the scholarship. The tournament is scheduled for play Friday night through Sunday at the Bowling Green City Park.
