BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — The community of turned out this Saturday evening to show their appreciation for the graduating class of 2020. The parking lot parade at the high school led to “The Lap” and residents along the way showing their support. The Bowling Green Fire Department rolled out with lights and sirens to lead the procession, which included vehicles decorated with signage and BG flags that would make their way around the lap in honor of this year’s graduates.
Graduating seniors were also offered free meals and desserts Saturday evening, courtesy of Merna’s Kitchen, B&B Automotive, Ann Layne Boutique, Special Occasion’s by Melony Grote, Woods Smoked Meats, Pepsi of Bowling Green, Sugar Shack, and Two Scoops Ice Cream.
