LOUISIANA, Mo. — The Louisiana Area Historical Museum will sponsor the 26th Annual Mid-Town Church Walk on Sunday, Dec. 8 starting at 3 p.m.
Once again the walk will begin at the historic Bethel AME Church, located at 6th and Tennessee Streets. A short program will be presented at each of the churches. Those taking part in the walk will be led to each of the locations on the walk.
Following the program at Bethel AME, the walk will progress to the First Christian Church. The next stop will be the First Baptist Church, then the Centenary United Methodist Church and the Calvary Episcopal Church. The walk will conclude at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 120 South 8th Street.
There is no charge to be a part of this wonderful afternoon of holiday music, though donations are always welcome. Monetary gifts will go to the museum.
This is the sixth year for the soup supper that follows the Church Walk. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Christmas and fellowship over homemade soups and desserts. There is no set charge for the meal but donations to benefit the operating expenses of the museum will be gratefully accepted.
Folks are encouraged to take part in the Louisiana Area Historical Museum’s 26th Annual Christmas Mid-Town Church Walk and get in the holiday spirit.
