LOUISIANA — The Louisiana Area Historical Museum is taking people back to the Civil War and the fight for women's voting rights. The museum is hosting its annual dinner on November 14th at the American Legion in Louisiana.St. Louis attorney Greg Wolk will be the featured speaker. He is a co-founder of the Missouri Civil War Heritage Foundation and has written a book detailing 235 Civil War sites in Missouri that features point-to-point driving instructions. The presentation will include Louisiana's role in the conflict as well as contributions of Louisiana's John Brooks Henderson family in the battle for women's suffrage.Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is at 6:30. Tickets are 30 dollars and reservations must be made by November 12th.
